General Purpose Small Kiln – Dentistry Burnout Furnace -VTDK-02

These furnaces were initially designed as “burnout” furnaces for the dentistry industry. Due to its popularity, we have re-engineered it to serve as a general work horse for several applications. These include the jewellery and laboratory industries, or any application that requires a small furnace that can reach up to 1150°C.

• Constructed from high quality, imported insolation materials.
• Our elements are made from Kanthal wire (or equivalent), and are designed to fit snuggly into precision cut grooves to reduce possible damage.
• All kilns are fitted with a standard K-Type thermocouple.
• A counter-balanced flap-down door which can also act as a work surface.
• Can be run from a normal household electrical socket with 240V power supply (South-Africa only).
• Powder coated casing to protect against corrosion.
• The maximum recommended operating temperature is 1150°C.
• If required this kiln can be fitted with a singe set point controller instead of the programmable controller.
