Description

Kiln Features

The elements are fitted into grooves in the kiln walls and lid, providing a secure fit. This prevents them from coming loose and protects them during packing and unpacking. The placement of the elements ensures even heat distribution, making it perfect for fusing and slumping.
All our kilns are equipped with an Element Cut-Off switch, which automatically deactivates the electricity-carrying element/s when the kiln door is open. This feature is integral to ensuring safety.
We use a handy plug system to connect our controller and kiln, making it easy to switch between different kilns and can be stored safely when not in use.
Our kilns are equipped with a door latch, guaranteeing a snug seal to optimize efficiency, and can be securely locked for additional safety.
Our kiln lids are equipped with gas lifters to securely hold the lid in place and make lifting easy.
In our traditional kilns, we incorporate an inspection bung that enables viewing and monitoring of kiln activity, as well as facilitating moisture control if necessary.
Our Glass kilns are equipped with the user-friendly VT36 Controller, specifically designed for easy operation and tailored for various down-ramp to controller cooling settings, ideal for glass work.
