Description
If you’re after serious translucency and that signature porcelain whiteness, Jade delivers in style. Straight from Jingdezhen – the legendary birthplace of Chinese imperial porcelain – this clay is all about elegance and performance. It’s perfect for decorative work or fine tableware, and yes, it’s food-safe too (ISO 6486 approved).
This clay comes ready to use in moist, extruded form, packed in a neat 5kg cylindrical shape inside a carton box. It has no added carbonates and fires to a fully sealed, glassy finish at 1270°C — no water absorption, just smooth and strong. With a firing range of 1260–1290°C, Jade gives you top results whether you’re sculpting thin, light-transmitting pieces or refined functional ware.
Whether you’re throwing, hand-building, or carving, this porcelain rewards attention to detail with beautifully translucent and luminous results.
