Mayco Designer Liner is a heavily pigmented, clay-based precision decorating product packaged in a 1.25-ounce squeeze bottle with a fine metal writer tip.
Key Features & Uses
- Precision Control: The metal tip lets you draw ultra-fine lines, detailed outlines, intricate illustrations, lettering, and typography (similar to icing a cake). They come with a needle pin to store your designer liner pens without the Nib Clogging. You can also reuse your Nib bottles when the glaze has finished.
- Versatile Application: Can be used directly from the bottle via the metal tip or applied with a brush for watercolor and ink-wash effects.
- Surface Compatibility: Works on greenware, bisque, glass (with a clear cap over it), or over non-moving glazes.
- Finish: Fires to a matte, textured finish if left unglazed. Apply a clear or transparent glaze over top for a glossy finish and to make it food-safe/dinnerware-safe.
- Firing Range: Fires from Cone 06 to Cone 10. (1000 Degrees Celsius)
- Important Note: It is designed for fine lines, not dimensional puffy effects. Applying it too thickly can cause it to crack or pop off during firing.
